How To Get Medical Marijuana in Vermont




Law/Bill: 18 V.S.A. § 4230 | Senate Bill 17


How to obtain registration: You’ll need a doctor’s recommendation and this form filled out after which the application can be found here.


How to obtain medicine: You may grow your own or a primary caregiver may grow it on your behalf. Dispensaries are currently not available though legislation has been passed to change that; see Senate Bill 17 Tracker. It is estimated that dispensaries will be up and running by late 2012.



Amount allowed: 2 ounces, 2 mature plants, 7 immature plants
